Chih-Mei Jill Chen-Kuendig

I am a marriage and family therapist in the state of California. My background in clinical psychology includes over eight years with El Camino Hospital as a program therapist and ten years at Momentum for Mental Health, where I worked as a therapist and manager. Prior to this, I worked in a variety of mental health settings. I am a compassionate and sincere therapist, and I want to help people accomplish their goals.
I received my MFT degree from California Baptist University in 1994 and I received my Doctor degree of Clinical Psychology in 2016. I worked with students in the public school system at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also worked with adults with severe mental health problems. My experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I am also a certified domestic violence counselor, a specialist in ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), a CBT/DBT trained therapist, and a family support group facilitator for National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI).
I speak English, Taiwanese, and Mandarin. I am married to a wonderful husband and have two adult children, five grandchildren, and many chickens.

Insurance
I belong to a few employee assistance panels such as CONCERN EAP, LYRA HEALTH, and VICTIM WITNESS. I can also provide medical invoices (or super bills) for you to file a claim through your insurance plan. Most services can be reimbursed through these benefits. Please contact your insurance provider for more information.
Private Pay
Please contact me for detailed information about my fee schedule. Cash, check, HSA, and major credit cards are accepted. Please note that I do not have a sliding scale fee structure.
